Színerő – Change of Scale symposium was first organized in the academic 2006/2007 year at the initiative of painter Ilona Keserü as a course of the Doctoral School of the PTE Faculty of Arts in the unused industrial interiors of the Zsolnay Factory. Ilona Keserü, a painter, professor emerita, is one of the founding members of the Faculty of Arts. Over time, the event developed into a major symposium.
After a break of several years, between May 16 and May 29, 2022, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty's Department of Painting organized the event again, for the tenth time.
The event included the designing and realization of colourful works on a scale larger than tableaus, using two or three-dimensional painting techniques, in the empty rooms of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter (southern complex of Pyrogranit Court).

The exhibition of the works created at the symposium can be viewed in Pécs between March 2 and April 2, 2023 at the m21 Gallery.
